South Florida continued a hot August landing the commitment of Georgia offensive lineman Drew Cornelius on Wednesday. The Heard County (Ga.) standout committed on his father's birthday to the Bulls and announced his decision via social media.

Cornelius described a close relationship with new offensive line coach Allen Mogridge as being a key factor in the Bulls' pursuit of him. Cornelius said all the uncertainty around the college football season and additional eligibility pushed up his timeline.
