USF is making moves on the recruiting trail. Tampa (Fla.) Sickles offensive tackle Zach Hudson had been committed to Missouri since June, but decided to stay at home to play his college ball for the next four years.
Hudson's flip to USF comes as no shock to Runningthebulls.com subscribers as we've been covering this situation for two months.
Hudson took it to Twitter to announce his decision.
This recruiting process has been long but the #USF Bulls have been my me the whole time and im proud to say Im keeping it in the 813.- C3Zach (@TheBigZach51) January 21, 2014
Tonight I committed to the University of South Florida. Keepin it in the Bay. Proud to be a bull and do something big the next 4 years- C3Zach (@TheBigZach51) January 21, 2014
The three-star tackle officially visited USF over the weekend. He was one of nineteen official visitors. Although no commitments were made during the visit, we expected fruits to come from this visit - and Hudson is the first domino that fell.
