South Florida landed the commitment of defensive tackle Desmond Mamudi in May, but with some senior film in the can, schools have been picking up interest including a recent offer from Virginia Tech and interest from other P5 programs as well. The clock is ticking for schools to make their move with an offer from the Carrollwood Day standout.

The weird part for Mamudi is he cannot visit any schools in-person due to the NCAA Dead Period extension because of COVID-19. Mamudi says he is still technically a commitment, but the new interest has him thinking about his options.
