Rivals150 guard to announce Saturday

USF is still looking to add to its 2012 basketball recruiting class.
Notre Dame Prep (Mass.) guard Sam Cassell, Jr, who is considering USF, Maryland, and Pittsburgh, will announce his college destination on Saturday at the Capital Classic All Star Game at T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria.

The Baltimore native will play for the U.S. All Stars in the game, along with several other Maryland commits.
Cassell, the son of Washington Wizards assistant and former NBA guard Sam Cassell, committed to Maryland in mid-March, but opened his options back up and took visits to FSU and USF earlier this month.
If he were to sign with USF, the 6-foot-3 Cassell, ranked No. 146 in the Rivals150, would leave USF will one scholarship available for next season.
Backup point guard Blake Nash recently announced he'll transfer from the Bulls.
