An Atlanta, Ga. native, Durr attends Oldsmar Christian School (OCS) in nearby Oldsmar, Fla. During last season’s Sunshine Independent Athletic Association state title run, Durr averaged 12.4 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3 blocks per game according to his Oldsmar Christian head coach John Bianchi.

The 2016-17 season was Durr’s first at OCS since transferring from Westlake High School in Atlanta.

In addition to USF Durr also held offers from DePaul, Georgetown, Memphis and Pittsburgh. Additionally he was receiving interest from Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Iowa State and Seton Hall.

“I actually have a good relationship with those guys because they were at Georgia Tech before and they were recruiting me there so I have a great relationship with the head and assistant coaches,” Durr told RunningTheBulls about the Bulls coaching staff when Brian Gregory offered him in May.

He is USF's second commit in the 2018 class. He joins fellow Georgian Rashun Williams who committed while on his visit Labor Day Weekend.
