Redshirt freshman quarterback Gunnar Smith entered the transfer portal on Tuesday night. Smith ended up as the odd man out in the quarterback race as Byrum Brown emerged from his same class with both likely behind a healthy Gerry Bohanon this fall. Smith will have four years to play four seasons at his next school.
