Sophomore defensive end Eddie Kelly was one of the bright spots on the South Florida defensive line a year ago that lacked many things to be excited about. The freshman defensive end announced his intention to enter the transfer portal on Tuesday night on his social media.

Kelly played in 11 games (four starts) as a true freshman last season racking up 19 tackles in 290 snaps at the defensive end position. He had six quarterback pressures and no sacks.
