USF offers Elias King

Shiloh High School (Snellville, Ga.) rising junior small forward Elias King picked up an offer from South Florida today. King became the third member of the AOT 16U team – rising junior small forward Isaac Okoro and rising junior center Babatunde Akingbola – to be offered by USF.

A solid sophomore season at Huntington (W.Va.) Prep followed by strong performances in the Nike EYBL (13.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game per Krossover.com) led to a No. 31 ranking in the class of 2019 and offers from North Carolina State, Seton Hall, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, Georgia, Miami and USF in the past 30 days and an invite to the Nike Elite 100 Camp.

King was a plus-finisher at the rim during EYBL play, making 99 percent of his shots inside of five feet. He was also a good catch and shoot player with a making 39 percent (50 eFG%) on 5.2 attempts per game.

King, who recently decided to transfer from Huntington Prep to Shiloh, took unofficial visits to Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville, and NC State during the summer.
