AAC Media Days: South Florida takes center stage in Texas

Just a short distance from AT&T Stadium, South Florida took center stage at the LIVE! BY LOEWS Sports Resort in Arlington, Texas on Tuesday at the American Athletic Conference Football Media Days.

The American welcomes six new programs to the conference in 2023, including Charlotte, UAB, FAU, North Texas, Rice and UTSA. UTSA won Conference USA titles the last two seasons and is projected as a potential preseason top 25 team.

Head Coach Alex Golesh, senior quarterback Gerry Bohanon and junior defensive tackle Rashad Cheney represented the Bulls at the event with comments on the program’s overall outlook, the 2023 schedule, facilities and more.
