RTB.com has confirmed that Tampa Bay Catholic wide receiver Zach Benjamin has officially signed his letter of intent to play for the University of South Florida.
Benjamin's signing should come as no surprise to USF fans. The Rivals.com three-star recruit has been outspoken about his commitment to the Bulls every since he verbally committed back on October 17th. The Tampa Catholic product chose the Bulls after receiving offers from Air Force, Arkansas State, Bowling Green, Colgate, Massachusetts, Ohio, Toledo and Western Kentucky.
The 6-foot-4, 187-pound Tampa Catholic product will be a nice addition to the Bulls wide receiving corps next season. The receivers should be a great strength for USF, which should help alleviate USF's lack of experience at the quarterback position. Benjamin will be added to a group that includes Andre Davis, Terrence Mitchell, Sterling Griffin and Chris Dunkley. Expect the Tampa native to line up right away next year for the Bulls.
