Before a crowd of over 250 recruits and several hundred spectators, the USF Bulls took the field at the Frank Morsani Practice Facility for the first time in pads since a dismal 2-10 season ended in December.
The Bulls didn't disappoint the crowd - or the recruits, with a spirited 2+ hour practice that included one-on-one drills, two-minute offense drills and some good old-fashioned jawing back and forth.
"That was too easy" said Andre Davis after hauling in a pass from Mike White. Freshman DB Deatrick Nichols got turned around a few times, but showed his athletic ability later in the drills - and USF RB Michael Pierre ripped off some very nice runs.

Other News and notes:
- Chris Dunkley dropped quite a few balls throughout practice. He'll have to work on that to be an effective downfield threat.
-Coach Willie Taggart emphasized the up tempo pace when asked about his offense.
-Coach Raymond Woodie talked about DeDe Lattimore as he has his pro day next week. "He has all of the intangibles to be a great Mike Linebacker in the NFL. He'll get the opportunity to really impress scouts during his pro day."
USF will resume practice on Monday at 8 AM.
