Oliver Antigua out at USF, NCAA investigation underway

The brother and lead assistant for USF basketball coach Orlando Antigua, Oliver Antigua has resigned from the Bulls program amid a NCAA probe. The school confirmed the departure Wednesday afternoon.

"Because the University of South Florida is committed to protecting the integrity of the investigation and ensuring those involved receive fair treatment, we cannot provide any details about the investigation at this time," the school's statement said.

The Bulls are under investigation for academic fraud in the men's basketball program. Antigua and his staff have signed players with troubled academic backgrounds like 2016 signees Troy Baxter (already on campus), Andres Feliz (in summer school) and 2015 signees Luis Montero (never got in) and Shawn Smith (never got in) and Tulio Da Silva (academically ineligible for 2015-16).
