MIAMI -- It's a done deal: Miami Jackson QB Quinton Flowers signed with South Florida this morning.
The three-star prospect chose USF over Nebraska, Texas, Tennessee, Florida, and UCF.
The Cornhuskers tried to make a late push for the multi-talented athlete from Miami Jackson.
"Nebraska came at me hard last week, tried to get me to flip. But I found the best fit for me at USF, I wanted to be here."
Flowers explained why he chose the Bulls.
"I have good relationships with Coach Telly Lockette and Coach Taggart. That was a big deal for me. I'm looking forward to being a Bull. It just feels right for me."
According to Flowers, he expects to see the field this fall.
"The staff thinks I can play as a true freshman, they told me that they want to utilize my talent right away," he said. "I'm starting out at quarterback, so I'm excited to get started."
Flowers is the only quarterback the Bulls will sign this year. He is a Rivals three-star and considered a dual-threat quarterback.
