Middle Georgia receiver Kory Pettigrew made the trip down I-75 for a midweek official visit to Tampa and things went so well he committed to South Florida football coach Alex Golesh. The Perry HS standout adds some size to the Bulls receiver stable that Golesh is rebuilding in the 2025 class.

Everything came together for Pettigrew on the visit to Tampa.

"The visit was amazing and the things that stood out were the coaches for sure and the location is amazing," he said of USF.

Pettigrew also visited nearby Georgia Southern but scrapped a planned trip to Marshall this weekend when he committed to Golesh after his Bulls visit. Golesh made a very strong impression on Pettigrew during the visit.

"Coach Golesh is the real deal he’s a cool guy i enjoyed my time with him," he said.

Bulls receivers coach L'Damian Washington also was big factor in Pettigrew's commitment along with how the Bulls plan to use him in Golesh's offense.

"They want me to play on the outside and utilize my speed and possibly in the slot as well and Coach Washington is dope man. He is one of the coolest dudes I know," Pettigrew said.

Pettigrew will be making the drive down I-75 to Tampa many times in the near future but the trip this week was the one that sealed the deal for the Bulls.
