The Plant Panthers battled the Godby Cougars Saturday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium. Godby won the game 35-16. There were four USF targets in the game that we kept our eye on - including one Bulls' commit. Here are our grades.

Kris Harris: B-

Harris played a pretty decent ball game edge rushing against a top 2015 OL in Jake Fruhmorgen. Harris pressured and hit Plant quarterback Colby Brown - forcing him to throw an interception. Harris moves well for how big he is. USF is recruiting him as a running back as well as a linebacker, but he did not see time at running back until late in the fourth quarter.

Tony Fields: B

Most of the passing damage Plant had was after Godby took out their first group on defense. Fields didn't make any highlight plays, but his job at free safety. He came down and made sure tackles when needed. Fields just had a solid overall performance.

Mazzi Wilkins: C

Wilkins didn't play particularly bad, but wouldn't say he had good game either. With Derrick Baity , who plays opposite of Wilkins, sitting out of the game - Godby attacked the side opposite of Wilkins and scored two long touchdowns. Wilkins missed a few tackles, which is the only thing keeping him from getting a grade similar to Tony Fields.

Jake Fruhmorgen:B-

Fruhmorgen played very well - keeping Kris Harris in check most of the afternoon. On rollout passing plays, the 2015 top prospect set the edge well giving his quarterback time to throw downfield. Fruhmorgen got to the second level consistently and played a solid ball game. Only knock on his performance that we saw was having two false starts - other than that - solid game.
