RTB.com has confirmed that Northwestern High School (Miami, Fla.) running back Darius Tice has officially signed his letter of intent with the University of South Florida today.

Tice comes to USF after the Bulls made a late run at the tailback two weeks ago, convincing him to take an official visit on January 30th. The 5-foot-10, 200-pound Miami native chose the Bulls after receiving offers from Cincinnati, FAU and South Alabama.

The signing of Tice is a big win for head coach Willie Taggart and the Bulls. The Northwestern product is one of just two running backs in the class of 2013 for USF, a position the Bulls are trying to build as much depth at as they can.
