Five targets that are still open

SOCIAL: Follow on Twitter | Friend on Facebook

We are six days away from signing day and the commitments continue to come in - as do the flips - but what would make this the best class ever for USF?

Here's our 'In the BullsEye' report on five more high priority targets - some committed and some not. Some took a visit and some didn't. If USF could land one of them it would strengthen the already impressive lass assembled by first-year coach Willie Taggart.

The staff poured through the names of those five 'on the bubble'

To find out more information on each player, just click on the player's name for a complete Rivals.com profile.

Richard Benjamin
6-foot-1 | 195 | Wide Receiver | Tampa Bay Tech (Tampa, Fla.)

The Buzz: Yes, Benjamin is committed to Louisville, but some think he is a candidate to flip on national signing day. The Rivals.com three-star, wide receiver took just one official visit, to Purdue and committed to the Cardinals without taking a visit. Benjamin would be a big flip for Willie Taggart and the Bulls. It is not out of the realm of possibilities, but definitely a long shot for USF. Benjamin is the 52nd ranked wide receiver in the nation and 72nd ranked player in Florida by Rivals.com. The fact that he visited USF after he committed says at least there's some interest there.

Where the Bulls Stand: - Benjamin would strengthen an already strong bond with the local talent in Tampa Bay. He also would be the type of player that Willie Taggart doesn't want to let get away to a conference rival (even if they're only rivals for another year). Taggart is a tireless recruiter and will work very hard on the Tampa Bay Tech product.

RATING: - Strong lean towards Louisville

Skai Moore

6-foot-2 | 210 | OLB| University School (Davie, Fla.)
The Buzz: At one point, it seemed that USF had the interest of Moore. A teammate of USF commit Mike White, Moore is being recruited hard by some of the top teams in the country. A Rival.com four-star product, Moore has taken visits to South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Rutgers and Wisconsin. Although Moore has not completely ruled out USF from his list of possible destinations, it looks like the Fort Lauderdale product is going to be a long shot for the Bulls. From what we are hearing, Moore will announce his decision on National Signing Day next week.

Where the Bulls stand: Moore may have been interested in USF but a lack of a visit will hurt the Bulls and shows that Moore's interest may have been in passing. Still, Moore has yet to flat-out rule out the Bulls and anything can happen (and usually does) on signing day RATING: - Toss up

Mackensie Alexander

5-foot-11 | 175 | CB | Immokalee (Immokalee, Fla.)
The Buzz: When signing day is said and done, Alexander could be a Bull. Although the defensive back did not visit USF, the four-star recruit still has high interest in the program. On the recruiting trail, Alexander has made visits to Clemson, Mississippi State, Rutgers and Texas A&M, leaving one official visit left. Perhaps the Bulls can get Alexander to make a last minute visit to Tampa to meeting Willie Taggart and the rest of the staff this weekend. Alexander will make his decision announcement on signing day.

Where the Bulls stand - Alexander has been hard to pin down, or gauge his direction. He's a legitimate impact player and will bolster anyone's roster where ever he goes. The Bulls staff has worked Immokalee pretty hard, getting 2013 target Deadrin Senat and 2014 target Jimmy Bayes to commit to the Bulls. That being said, it's very rare that a person commits to a school they haven't visited - but it does happen.

RATING: - toss-up

Mackenro Alexander

6-foot-0 | 190 | Safety| Immokalee (Immokalee, Fla.)
The Buzz: The brother of USF offer Mackensie Alexander, Mackenro has not received an offer from USF. The reason why Mackenro is on this list is because the brothers have expressed that they want to play in the same place, opening the door for USF. This might require Mackenro to walk-on at USF, something he would have no trouble doing, if he chose to. The Immokalee product is a Rivals.com three-star recruit and the 43rd ranked safety in the nation. Mackenro has made two visits during recruiting season; one to Mississippi State and West Virginia. It will be a long shot for USF to land both Alexander's, but isn't out of the realm of possibilities. Stranger things have happened on National Signing Day.

Where the Bulls stand: It's no secret that the brothers Alexander want to stay together - but can they? Mackenro is an impact player in his own right. That being said, the secondary is getting full right now - so the odds of bringing in two additional safety/defensive backs are slim. Then again, everything is fluid until signing day.

RATING: Too close to call

Asiantii Woulard

6-foot-3 | 196 | WR | Lakewood (St. Petersburg, Fla.)
The Buzz: The staff deliberated on this one - and because the fans continue to bring his name up, we're giving you what you want. For Bulls fans, Woulard is like the prom date that got away; they can't stop thinking about her and hope every day to hear she is coming back. Once a USF commit, Woulard de-committed from the Bulls after former head coach Skip Holtz was fired in December. Since opening his options, Woulard has flirted with many programs, making visits to Clemson, Kentucky, N.C. State and UCLA. A Rivals.com four-star recruit, Woulard is the fifth QB and 141st ranked player in the nation and 22nd ranked player in Florida. Woulard will make his decision next week on National Signing Day on ESPNU. It seems that Kentucky, UCLA and Clemson are the favorites to get the quarterback. Rivals.com Football Rivals.com recruiting writer Mike Farrell wrote earlier today that he felt Woulard would be going to the Bruins next week

Where the Bulls stand: Quite frankly, the Bulls are all but out of the race, but as Jim Carrey said to Lauren Holly in 'Dumb and Dumber - 'So you're telling me there's a chance'... Woulard skyrocketed to rock star status when he won the MVP at the Elite 11 - and that's when he began to waffle more than a cook at Waffle House. He's been evasive as to his choice, but has eliminated USF from the list

RATING: Leaning Clemson - even though Mike Farrell doesn't agree

Coming tomorrow - Five that got away.
