Here's five that haven't decided yet

SOCIAL: Follow on Twitter | Friend on Facebook

We are exactly one week away from signing day and the commitments continue to come in - but what would make this the best class ever for USF?

Here's our 'In the BullsEye' report on five that remain high priority targets, but aren't committed to anyone - and could strengthen the already impressive class assembled by first-year coach Willie Taggart.

The staff poured through the names of those who have taken a visit - yet haven't committed. We came up with these five names. Remember - in order to be on this list - a player has to have taken a visit to USF and have not committed.

Tomorrow we'll examine five athletes that are targets - but didn't visit - and why.

Returning
Stacy Coley
6-foot-1 | 175 | Wide Receiver | Northeast (Oakland Park, Fla.)
The Buzz: Coley is a Rivals250 player that brings all the trimmings of a high four-star athlete. He's quick off the ball, has great leaping ability -far beyond his 6-foot-1 frame. Coley visited USF last weekend and not only brought mom, but brought grandma too. Reports are that it's down between Florida State and Miami but Taggart made an in-home visit Monday and now people are saying it's a two team race - but not the two you may think. Getting Coley is huge for the southeast market for Larry Scott and the rest of the staff. Scott worked hard to get Lamar Robbins to take a visit and he committed - which may open the door even more for Miami-Dade County and neighboring Broward County.

Where the Bulls Stand - South Florida has come on extremely strong of late, and very well could pull the biggest upset of the recruiting season by unseating FSU and Miami for Coley. However, WR coach Lawrence Dawsey of FSU has a great relationship with Coley and his coach Donnell Bennett. This one appears to be going right down to signing day

RATING: - Dead heat with FSU.

Denver Kirkland

6-foot-3 | 333 | OT| Booker T. Washington (Miami, Fla.)
The Buzz: The race for Kirkland got interesting with the departure of Florida State Offensive Coordinator James Coley - who recruits Miami-Dade County and has a strong relationship with Kirkland. Coley - now at Miami - also played for Booker T. Washington head coach Tim "Ice" Harris. But Kirkland remains open and says he's 'not decided' just yet. Arkansas is the latest suitor - wooing Kirkland to an official last weekend. Don't count out a last-minute push by Jimbo Fisher - who is a consummate closer on cases like this.

Where the Bulls stand: Quite frankly, this is a big question mark. Kirkland has been very vague about where he's leaning. His list is reportedly down to three - with USF, Miami and FSU. This would be a huge pick up for Willie Taggart and strengthen the offensive line almost immediately. Kirkland will be making his decision on signing day.

RATING: - Leaning Miami

JoJo Kemp

5-foot-10 | 189 | ATH | Deland (Deland, Fla.)
The Buzz: Kemp visited the weekend of January 25 and enjoyed it. He's set to make his announcement live on a video stream Friday from his home. The Bulls are pressing hard, and with the pickup of Stafon McCray, getting Kemp would only add to the stable of top-notch recruits that Taggart seems to be collecting like a pied piper. Kemp has electric speed (watch the second highlight of the video) and can cut on a dime. His size makes him a perfect tailback - but durability in the college game may be a question mark.

Where the Bulls stand - USF won out over Tennessee for the final visit - but can the Bulls beat out Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Kentucky. Kemp is from a small town that has its own college program (Stetson - starting in 2014) and wants to play in a BCS conference.

RATING: - toss-up

Travis Johnson

6-foot-3 | 235 | TE/WR | Jesuit (Tampa, Fla.)
The Buzz:

Johnson, a two-sport athlete (basketball is his other sport) took an official to USF last weekend instead of Rutgers. That was step one for the Bulls - who have been courting him since the arrival of Taggart and company. The one-time Miami commit is still uncommitted. It's a three-horse race by all indications - with Missouri and Cincinnati. But there are rumors of a fourth suitor.

Where the Bulls stand: Johnson knows the campus, the atmosphere and the ambience of Tampa - he lives five minutes from the USF campus. He's a local product who would bring a huge offensive weapon to the Bulls. The fact that he may be able to play both sports at USF is a huge plus - but will he choose to stay home? RATING: Slight lean to USF.

Marquez Valdes

6-foot-3 | 196 | WR | Lakewood (St. Petersburg, Fla.)
The Buzz: Valdes is a solid receiver that has both size and speed. He's surprisingly quick off the ball and has great leaping ability. He's very relaxed and has been known to make big plays. He's been to Toledo, Houston, Cincinnati and N.C. State and came to USF last weekend.

Where the Bulls stand: Valdes - if you read his twitter posts - is very aloof, but in a good way. He doesn't let things bother him - but has been driven to succeed. He enjoyed his trip to USF - even though at times it seemed as though he would have rather been somewhere else. N. C. State made an early offer and pushed hard for a commitment. So far, Valdes is still holding it close to the vest.

RATING: Leaning N.C. State

Others that didn't visit - but were considered - coming tomorrow
