After coming off a much-needed conference win, USF (10-7, 1-4)heads to New Jersey to face Seton Hall (11-7, 1-2) in a Big East clash.

With both teams looking for their second conference win, the Pirates look to end their four-game skid, while the Bulls look to go for two wins in a row.

USF Must...

USF has to make sure not to get down early against Seton Hall or else the Pirates might build a large enough lead to sit on throughout the game.

  • With the Pirates scoring almost 71 points a game, the Bulls have to limit the field-goal droughts.

  • USF has a penchant for going several minutes without scoring points rather frequently and that's something a low scoring team doesn't want to do against Seton Hall.

  • USF needs to improve at rebounding on both ends of the court, with Seton Hall shooting 45% from the field.

    Scouting the Pirates

Seton Hall's, Fuquan Edwin, looks to get on track against USF after having a rough four games during the skid.

Shooting nearly 50% from the field and from the 3-point range, he's looking for a bounce-back game against the Bulls. Center Eugene Teague, could be the difference maker for the Pirates because of his ability underneath the basket, something the Bulls have been lacking.

    Scouting the Bulls

USF has fallen victim to the 2-3 zone for the last five games and in Saturday's win over Georgetown, the zone worked effectively - for a half.

The Bulls went 1-14 in the first half from beyond the three-point line - but rectified that by hitting five straight and finishing 8-27. USF shot a horrible 31 percent from the field in the first half, but significantly improved.

The play of Jawanza Poland just keeps getting better. With guard Shaun Noriega being ruled out for the season and the likely loss of Musa Abdul-Aleem - who continues to struggle with back pain.

The return of Kore White should help the Bulls inside and the play of fr. Javontae Hawkins has been simply fun to watch.

Game time is at 7PM and is being broadcast on ESPNU
