Five-star will head east to see UGA

The University of Georgia will get a chance to host one of the top playmakers in the country on an official visit later this month. Randall Carroll is one of the fastest prospects in America and he will travel across the country to visit Athens.

"I have four official visits set up and one of them is to Georgia," said Carroll. "I will be visiting the University of Georgia on November 29. I have talked to Coach [Mike] Bobo and Coach [Bryan] McClendon and we have set up the visit."

Before visiting Athens for the first time, he will visit schools in three other states.

"My first visit is to Texas Tech on November 8, then Florida on November 15, and I will be visiting California on November 22. I am not sure about a fifth visit yet, but it may be to Colorado. I don't have anything set up yet though."

The 5-foot-11, 175 pound five-star prospect out of Los Angeles committed to the University of Southern Cal back in September of 2007. Over a year ago, he felt he wanted to be a Trojan on the next level, but he wants to make sure of that.

One school he has had interest in for years is Georgia. The SEC program has caught his eye and he has interest in the Dawgs.
