All not settled for DE Bedford

Before the holidays, Independence (Kan.) Community College defensive end David Bedford spoke like South Florida had him all but locked up as a 2008 commitment. And that may still come to pass, but Bedford is now sounding like there's at least a little bit of competition still alive for his services.

The 6-foot-5, 240-pound Bedford is rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals.com and ranked as the no. 9 JUCO player in the nation. He's taken official visits to Kansas State and West Virginia already and he will make his long planned official visit to USF this coming weekend. But he's also added a fourth and perhaps final visit to his schedule - Iowa State on the weekend of January 18.

"I've always told Coach Pelton that I was going to come up there for one of my visits and we finally got it scheduled," said Bedford. "I think Iowa State will be my last visit. I don't know if I will decide right after that or take a little more time to make a decision."
