Adams another in-state player to watch

In the middle of the 2006 season, Enterprise (Ala.) High head coach Kevin Collins had a decision to make.

His starting tight end had just suffered a season-ending knee injury, and the coach needed someone to step in.

Enter Ken Adams.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder, a junior wide receiver at the time, made the move inside. Since then, it's worked out well for everyone.

"We moved him inside and put his hand on the ground for most of our stuff, and that's when the light came on for him," Collins said. "He made me look like a pretty smart coach after we put him there."
