UCLA Big Man Camp - Part II

For anyone not paying attention, big men are at a premium for the UCLA class of 2011 and roughly 150 offensive and defensive linemen showed up at the Bruin Big Man Camp last Saturday June 19th and one player was so impressive that he earned a Bruin scholie and offensive tackle Torian White (6-6, 270) from Lakewood, Calif.

We already covered White in part one of the Big Man Camp series along with Ben Wysocki (6-4, 265) from Los Alamitos, Calif., Boise State bound Jeff Worthy (6-4, 275) from La Habra (Calif.) Whittier Christian and the highly coveted Danny Shelton (6-3, 300) from Auburn, Wash.

For part two we will take a look at an underclassman who received a UCLA offer and others who impressed and are now on UCLA's radar.

While many know that Cody Kurz (6-3, 238, 4.8) from Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure is an outstanding linebacker on the high school level. He ended up playing defensive end at UCLA's Big Man camp and he looked like a natural. He had solid first step and won the majority of his one on ones. It would be too surprising if he ends up with his hand down on the next level. He already has offers from Colorado, Oregon State and Washington.
