Smith wants to play early

One of Duke's big selling points for recruits in recent years has been that playing time may be readily available. That's still the case at certain positions and an offensive line recruit from Maryland likes the sound of that.

Donovan Smith, a 6-foot-5, 270-pound offensive tackle from Owings Mills, Md., has been on the Blue Devils' radar from quite some time. Earlier it was Duke and a few other schools that were pursuing Smith, but now a lot of new schools are in the mix.
