Collins announced in April his intentions to enter his name into the NBA Draft, while keeping his eligibility options open throughout the process.

A 6-foot-4, 218-pound guard from Youngstown, Ohio, Collins has led USF in scoring the past two seasons. As a junior Collins led the Bulls, and ranked 11th in The American, in scoring with 13.7 points per game. He was second on the team, and sixth in the conference, with 1.8 steals per game. Collins also averaged a team-high 32.6 minutes per game.

Collins started all 37 games in his sophomore season averaging a team best 15.9 points per game and scoring the sixth-most points (587) in a single season in school history. He was selected to the All-American Athletic Conference Third Team and named the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) Most Valuable player.

After averaging 10.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 steals per game in his freshman season Collins was selected to the American Athletic Conference All-Rookie Team.

Collins' return means USF will have five players who started at least 15 games in the 2019-20 season on its roster next season.
