Chad Simmons
UGASports.com It is that time again, and we are back on the road Monday through Friday to watch some of the top prospects in the country go through spring practice. The prospect in the spotlight this time is Jarvis Jones.
Prospect: Jarvis Jones
High School: Carver - Columbus, Georgia
Class: 2009
Position: Linebacker
Vitals: 6-3, 223-pounds, 4.6
Offers: Over 30 offers from schools across the country.
Favorites: Open, but he is looking at Clemson, Georgia, Florida, USC, and Texas a lot.
Colleges in Attendance: Miami
Practice Observations: Jones was a force on the practice field the time we were in attendance. He was hitting, leading, and taking charge on the practice field. He is an attacking linebacker that can get north-south in a hurry that delivers big hits. His size, quickness, and explosiveness are three things that stood out.
