Stormo plans visits to NW schools
Dan Mack, head coach of Kamiak High School, in Mukilteo, Wash., uses adjectives like tremendous, terrific, and brilliant to describe his junior tight end, Skylar Stormo, and it won't be long before college coaches are saying the same.
At 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds, Stormo certainly has the physique of a tight end, and he continues to grow and get bigger. "He sees himself as a tight end," said Mack. "But he's the kind of athlete who can play anywhere."
Stormo had the opportunity to attend Washington's junior day on March 3, and Oregon's junior day on April 28.
"Washington's junior day was cool, we got to see the basketball game and meet some of the coaches," he said. "And Oregon was fun, too. We watched their spring game."
