Robbinsdale (Minn.) Armstrong three-star wide receiver David Gilreath verbally committed to the Minnesota Gophers this past summer and it seems his commitment is still strong - for now - despite two other Big Ten programs continuing to show him interest.

BadgderBlitz.com caught up with the 5-foot-9, 150-pounder Tuesday evening to chase down a rumor that he might be a "soft" verbal commitment and looking elsewhere.

Asked if his frustrations had anything to do with the Gophers' losing season (0-5 Big Ten, 3-6 overall), Gilreath said that's not the case. His frustration stems from a sub-par senior season.

Of the two Big Ten schools continuing to recruit Gilreath, he said Wisconsin is still a player.
