It was a busy weekend for Owings Mill, Md. offensive tackle Donovan Smith. Rutgers and Virginia both offered Smith on Friday, bringing his early total up to nine. The 6-foot-5, 255 pound Smith received word of his Rutgers offer on Friday during an unofficial trip to Piscataway.
